Obtaining a Certificate with in-person accreditation

The process of obtaining a software Certificate (as a downloadable file) for the user is divided into four steps that must be carried out in the order indicated:

  1. Preliminary configuration. To request the certificate, it is necessary to install the software indicated in this section.
  2. Online application for your Certificate. At the end of the application process, you will receive a Request Code in your email account that will be required at the time of proving your identity and later when downloading your certificate.
  3. In-person accreditation at an Identity Accreditation Office. Once the previous phase has been completed and you are in possession of your Request Code, to continue with the process you must Certify your Identity at one of our Identity Accreditation Offices. For your convenience, you can use our OFFICE LOCATOR.NOTE: In the offices of the AEAT, Social Security and in other offices an appointment is required, check with the office itself.
  4. Download your User Certificate. Approximately 1 hour after you have accredited your identity at an Identity Accreditation Office and using your Request Code, from here you can download and install your certificate and make a backup copy (RECOMMENDED).
